Description

In order to maintain sanitary sewer system reliability and capacity, and be in

compliance with the State of California’s Waste Discharge Requirements, the Long Beach Water Department decided to overhaul its deficient and agingsewer infrastructure to ensure the swift removal of sanitary sewage from LongBeach residences and businesses. Sewer lift stations arerehabilitated to ensurethe integrity, dependability, and prolonged life of critical sewer facilities.  This project consisted of interior wet well repairs, ventilation and odor control system

upgrades, and structural and seismic improvements.
