Description

The project involved improvements and repairs at Lindero Pump Station, which are necessary to the dependable operation of the pump station and the continued reliability of water supply to the Oak Park Region.  Project activities included: replacement of existing above-ground horizontal split case pumps with vertical turbine pumps; modifications to existing piping system; replacement of control valves, surge tank air compressor, and the existing electrical systems, including standard voltage equipment; a new stationary diesel backup generator; a removable protective canopy over the new pumps; and building improvements.
